Quality power supplies show low noise under load, confirmed with a load tester and scope. The cable is high quality, with a DCR (total loop resistance, for both red and black wires) around 0.1 Ohms. However, it doesn’t include a ferrite bead like the slightly more expensive 5V 2.5A model with a microUSB connector. Ferrite beads are crucial for cutting down RFI and EMI picked up by the long cable. Without them, sensitive electronics might glitch. I bought two adapters, cut the cords, and added ferrite beads to both. Clip-on ferrite beads could work too!
