This is an electronic power supply module that incorporates a switching regulator to convert electrical power efficiently. Like many other power supplies, it transfers power from AC100V~240V(50HZ/60HZ) source to DC 24V.
Switching regulators are used as replacements for linear regulators when higher efficiency, smaller size or lighter weight are required. It supports over voltage protection, over current protection and short circuit protection. Designed with two heat sinks for better heat dissipation.

I am using this buck converter as my 240V AC to 24V 6A DC SMPS. This one has excellent short-circuit protection. Haven’t tested the 6A current draw but other than that everything else works butter smooth.
